A cluster of 3 – 6 blooms that have a cup in the center with a diameter of up to 3 inches. The petals surrounding the center cup flare out. The stems have no leaves and can grow up to 18 inches long.

History and Usage:
A member of the Amaryllidaceae (amaryllis) family, the Amazon lily originates from Colombia and Peru. When it is found, it goes very nicely in floral arrangements and bouquets for weddings. It also goes very nicely in a corsage for any occasion.
Points of Interest:
Its common relatives are onion, narcissus, nerine and zephyranthes. It is said to have a very sweet fragrance.
