Form and Size:
The stems of broom are leafless and 16 – 20 inches in height. The blooms are small, pea-like and are all over the green stem.

Care Instructions:
Remove any leaves at the bottom of the stem, cut under water and place in fresh water with flower food. Broom should be treated with an anti-ethylene product.
History and Usage:
A member of the Leguminosae (pea) family, broom originated in Europe.

Relatives of broom include clover, lupine, acacia and wisteria. The white variety of broom is often dyed pink or purple and then put in arrangements.
