We know that you may have many questions about our Shows and Events services and how Viviano Flower Shop can be of assistance to you in planning your special event. Therefore, we have compiled a list of answers to some of our clients' most frequently asked questions. We hope that by reading them you will find answers to some of your own questions as well.

Do we have to meet in person to work out our floral and decorating plans for my upcoming event?
No, we do not have to meet in person. Our Shows and Events account executives frequently work with event coordinators over the phone and by e-mail. We are able, in this way, to discuss your plans, exchange information and successfully work out the details.

May I see a sample of what you're proposing?
We understand that it is sometimes helpful to make a sample of a proposed arrangement so you can more easily visualize the concept under consideration. In this case, we are happy to create the piece for you to see. We can also digitally photograph it and send it to you by e-mail if you are unable to see it in person.

I'm not exactly sure what I want. May I come in and see the flowers and look at your facilities?
Absolutely! We welcome your visit. Simply call to make an appointment with one of our Shows and Events account executives. We will arrange a meeting at your convenience and be pleased to show you our design and greenhouse facilities, our staff, and our vast array of flowers, green and blooming plants, trees, and other decorative items.

I have some ideas for my event, but I just don't know how to organize them. Can you help me?
We certainly can! Tell us your ideas, and our professional consultants will listen and ask the necessary questions to help you transform your ideas into viable options about which you can then make confident and informed decisions. The result will be a finished, polished presentation of your ideas!

Am I responsible for getting the props back to you after our event?
As a service of convenience to our clients and to help prevent any accidental loss of product, Viviano Flower Shop provides staff members who "tear down" the decorations and pick up the props the day or evening after your event.

My event is scheduled in the middle of winter. Is it still possible to create a fresh green summer landscape indoors?
Yes, it is! Although evergreen plants naturally go into a period of dormancy in the winter, we are able to bring them out of their dormancy in our warm greenhouses before we use them in your landscape. This brightens their color. We are also able to secure other shrubs, grass, fencing, flowers, green and blooming plants, and even a mechanical deer or two if you wish. Our landscape professionals will arrange everything-the set up, the tear down and the removal of the display after your event.

Do we rent or buy the plants? May we keep the plants?
We offer most of our plants for use on a rental basis. By carefully tending them in our greenhouses, we are able to offer healthy plants to our clients at reduced cost to them. However, if you prefer to buy and keep the plants then you may do so. This arrangement must be made with your account executive at the time you contract your order.

Can you visit our facility to get a better understanding of our special needs?
Because we understand that each event has its own special considerations, we are happy to visit your facility or location to do a site survey in preparation for planning your event. If necessary, we will fly to your destination. We will document the perimeters of your event area and specify any special requirements of your site. Is your site a golf course with rolling terrain? Is it an indoor exhibition hall where you want to hang decorations from the ceiling? Do we need to procure rigging or other specialized equipment to accomplish your designs? Our Shows and Events professionals pay attention to the obvious details as well as the smallest ones in surveying your site and serving your event.

I must use union labor at my event. Are you able to work with union requirements?
We have extensive experience working with unions and their guidelines. When union labor is mandatory, we work cooperatively and in partnership with union personnel to efficiently and successfully set up your event.
