Wishing you wellness!

Dear Patrons and Friends,

What a sad and uncertain time this is for everyone. Given all the anxiety and sorrow of these days, we had hoped to continue delivering a bit of sunshine to all those who need it, most especially those who are grieving the loss of someone dear to them. We have heard directly from you how uplifting and meaningful it is in these dark days to know that a friend, colleague, or family member has reached out to you in compassion and solidarity. We sincerely sympathize with your ongoing spiritual and emotional needs despite the necessary physical restrictions on us all. As much as we would like to be a positive contributor in our community thanks to the unique ability of flowers to cheer and console, please understand that we are severely limited in what we can do.

With a vastly reduced team that is dutifully following the safety precautions outlined by the CDC, we are caring for our perishable flowers and plants, maintaining our facilities, processing payments and bills, assisting our staff (including those who are confined at home) with human resource issues, responding to voice messages and emails, and answering the phone remotely from 9 am to 3 pm. As the only florist member of the Michigan Funeral Directors Association and a supplier to that industry, we also are servicing funeral homes and accepting sympathy orders for home delivery. Our drivers are performing only contactless deliveries to homes. We are not making any deliveries to non-sympathy businesses at this time as the safety risk to our drivers is considered too great. Furthermore, our delivery area is much smaller than under normal circumstances.

We are accepting home deliveries for other occasions but our service is very limited. Our remote sales associates will be glad to have a discussion with you about what we can and cannot do, including our limitations on flower selection as demand has diminished and the floral supply chains have been impacted worldwide. Furthermore, with a staff of no more than 10 per day at our 40,000 square foot facility we can only handle a limited number of orders per day. You can place your order online and we will contact you if we are unable to complete your order as requested. Please note that substitutions may be necessary to fill your order.

Our wedding team is not on-site but can answer your phone messages and emails about existing or future orders if you reach out to them at weddings@viviano.com or 866-293-7436. As they are working from home, please be patient while waiting for their reply. They may be slower in responding due to the extreme circumstances, but they will respond. Given our expertise and experience in servicing weddings and special events, we are capable of providing for your floral needs as soon as permitted.

Finally, please know of our deep gratitude for your loyal support over the years and especially during this difficult time. As we strive to weather this storm together, we place our confidence in your continued support and good will and in God's providence. We pray for the virtues of wisdom, prudence, courage, and compassion for our President, our Governor, and all our state and local leaders as they take necessary actions to fight the spread of Covid-19. We pray for the health and safety of our wonderful team and family and for all of you as we look forward, with hope, to that joyful day when we can re-open our doors to create artful designs and share the special happiness of God's most beautiful flowers and plants.

May God bless you and your loved ones with equanimity and good health.

Gratefully,
Paul and Peter Viviano
